MEET LETICIA

Trauma & Postpartum Therapist In Palm Bay, FL

I help adults heal from the effects of trauma and support individuals through pregnancy, postpartum, and the transition into parenthood so they can move beyond survival mode, feel at home in their bodies, and build relationships that feel safe, secure, and authentic.

This work is deeply personal to me. Like many of my clients, I've experienced the impact of generational trauma and know what it feels like to lose yourself while trying to keep the peace, meet expectations, or simply survive. Becoming a parent deepened my understanding of how old wounds can resurface during major life transitions and reinforced my passion for helping others navigate this season with compassion and support. My own healing showed me that recovery isn't about becoming someone new—it's about reconnecting with who you've always been beneath the fear, self-doubt, and survival strategies. That's what inspired me to become a therapist.

Today, I specialize in working with adults navigating trauma, pregnancy, postpartum, relationship challenges, eating disorders, and LGBTQ+ identities and experiences. Whether you're adjusting to the emotional and physical changes of parenthood, processing a difficult birth experience, navigating infertility or trying to conceive, or carrying the weight of experiences that began long before becoming a parent, therapy can help you understand the patterns keeping you stuck while creating new ways to feel safe, connected, and supported. My approach blends warmth, curiosity, and evidence-based care with advanced training in trauma therapy, somatic therapy, CBT, DBT, and Perinatal Mental Health.

I believe healing happens when you no longer have to earn your worth through people-pleasing, perfectionism, or carrying everyone else's needs. Therapy offers a space where every part of you is welcome—where your experiences are met with compassion, your nervous system can finally exhale, and you can reconnect with yourself while building a life that feels more grounded, present, and authentically yours.

Whether you're preparing for parenthood, navigating postpartum, or healing from trauma that's followed you for years, you don't have to carry it alone. If you're ready to move beyond surviving and begin feeling like yourself again, I'd be honored to walk alongside you.

I know what it’s like…

For a long time, I believed my value came from taking care of everyone else. I became the one who held it all together, anticipated other people's needs, and kept moving no matter how exhausted I felt. Like so many people who grow up with generational trauma, I learned to stay small, stay strong, and stay in survival mode.

I know what it's like to question your instincts, to feel responsible for everyone else's happiness, and to lose touch with yourself while trying to be everything to everyone. I also know that major life transitions—like pregnancy, postpartum, or becoming a parent—can bring old wounds to the surface, leaving you wondering why everything suddenly feels so much harder than expected.

What changed wasn't that my past disappeared—it was that I stopped believing I had to keep carrying it alone. I learned to listen to my body instead of pushing through it. I discovered that my needs weren't a burden, my boundaries weren't selfish, and my worth was never something I had to earn.

That healing changed the way I move through the world, and it's what inspired me to become a therapist.

Today, I help adults heal from trauma and navigate the emotional challenges of pregnancy, postpartum, and parenthood with greater compassion and confidence. Together, we'll gently untangle the beliefs, protective patterns, and nervous system responses that have kept you stuck so you can reconnect with yourself, strengthen your relationships, move through this season with more support, and create a life that feels grounded, authentic, and fully your own.

What makes Another Day Psychology, Inc. different

⟡ Maybe you've spent so long taking care of everyone else that you can't remember the last time you asked yourself what you need.

⟡ Maybe pregnancy, postpartum, or the transition into parenthood has left you feeling overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected from yourself, or wondering why this season feels so much harder than you expected.

⟡ Maybe becoming a parent—or trying to become one—has brought old wounds to the surface, making it harder to trust yourself, ask for help, or feel like you're enough.

If any of that feels familiar, you're not alone.

I don't believe you're broken or that you need to be "fixed." I believe your mind and body learned ways to survive experiences that felt overwhelming, unsafe, or too much to carry alone. Sometimes those survival strategies become especially loud during pregnancy, postpartum, or other major life transitions. Together, we'll gently make sense of those patterns with curiosity and compassion instead of judgment.

My approach blends trauma-informed therapy with somatic work, helping you understand not only why you feel the way you do, but also how trauma lives in the body and how to reconnect with yourself in ways that feel safe. We'll move at your pace, build practical tools for everyday life, and create a space where you don't have to earn your worth through perfectionism, productivity, or taking care of everyone else.

Healing isn't about becoming someone new. It's about coming home to the person you've always been beneath the survival strategies that once protected you.

Our Services

THERAPY FOR POSTPARTUM

You thought you'd feel different by now. Instead, you're overwhelmed, touched out, anxious, or wondering why this feels so much harder than everyone else makes it look. Maybe you're carrying the invisible mental load, grieving the loss of who you were before becoming a parent, struggling to bond with your baby, navigating infertility or IVF, healing after a traumatic birth, or feeling crushed by guilt for not enjoying every moment.

You don't have to carry it all alone. Together, we'll make sense of what you're experiencing, calm your overwhelmed nervous system, process the parts of your story that still hurt, and help you reconnect with yourself—not just as a parent, but as a whole person. Whether you're trying to conceive, pregnant, postpartum, or adjusting to the many transitions of parenthood, therapy can help you feel more grounded, supported, and like yourself again.

THERAPY FOR LGBTQIA+

You're tired of wondering if you'll be accepted for who you are. Maybe you're questioning your identity, navigating the coming out process, carrying the pain of rejection, or feeling exhausted by the pressure to hide parts of yourself to keep others comfortable. You may struggle with anxiety, shame, people-pleasing, relationship challenges, or the lasting impact of discrimination or religious trauma.

You deserve a space where you don't have to explain or defend who you are. Together, we'll process what's been weighing on you, build self-trust, strengthen your relationships, and help you create a life that feels authentic, connected, and true to you.

THERAPY FOR COUPLES & RELATIONSHIPS

You love each other, but lately it feels like you're speaking different languages. Maybe every conversation turns into the same argument, you've stopped feeling like a team, or the distance between you keeps growing. Perhaps you're trying to rebuild after infidelity, struggling to trust again, navigating differences in intimacy or communication, or facing challenges unique to LGBTQIA+ relationships, polyamory, or other consensually non-monogamous relationships.

Together, we'll identify the patterns keeping you stuck, rebuild trust, strengthen communication, deepen emotional connection, and create healthier ways of relating to one another. My approach is affirming, trauma-informed, and inclusive of all relationship structures, helping you build a relationship that feels secure, authentic, and aligned with your shared values.

THERAPY FOR EATING DISORDERS

You're exhausted by the constant food noise. Maybe you're stuck in the binge-restrict cycle, obsessing over calories, feeling guilty after eating, or believing your worth depends on your body. You may feel out of control around food, disconnected from your body's cues, or trapped by rules that seem impossible to break.

You don't have to keep living this way. Together, we'll explore what's beneath these patterns, heal your relationship with food and your body, and help you reconnect with trust, flexibility, and freedom—without shame or diets.

THERAPY FOR TRAUMA & PTSD

You are feeling stuck in survival mode; constantly on edge, disconnected from yourself, or weighed down by experiences that continue to affect your relationships, emotions, and sense of safety. Even when you want to move forward, your mind and body may still be carrying the impact of the past.

Together, we'll work to understand how trauma has shaped your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and nervous system while building practical tools to help you feel more grounded and secure. Using a trauma-informed, somatic approach, we'll focus on helping your mind and body reconnect, so you can move beyond survival and begin living with greater peace, confidence, and authenticity.

SOMATIC BASED THERAPY

You know something feels off, but you can't always explain why. Maybe you're constantly on edge, emotionally overwhelmed, disconnected from your body, or stuck in survival mode. You overthink everything, your nervous system never seems to relax, or you feel numb, anxious, or exhausted no matter how hard you try.

Healing isn't just about talking; it involves your body, too. Together, we'll gently tune into your nervous system, build a greater sense of safety, and release patterns of stress and trauma that no longer serve you. You'll learn to trust your body again, feel more grounded in the present, and respond to life instead of constantly reacting to it.

Outside of the Therapy Room

When I'm not wearing my therapist hat, I'm usually chasing after my toddler, trying to drink my coffee while it's still hot (rarely successful), or spending time with my family. Parenthood has taught me that life rarely goes according to plan—and that's okay.

You'll also find me at the gym, because moving my body is one of my favorite ways to recharge, curled up on the couch cuddling with my dogs, exploring new places, hunting down a great local coffee shop, or getting lost in a good book. I love a good laugh, believe humor can be incredibly healing, and appreciate the beauty in the perfectly imperfect parts of life.

At the end of the day, I'm just a real person who knows what it's like to navigate life's ups and downs. I bring that same authenticity, warmth, curiosity, and compassion into every session, creating a space where you can show up exactly as you are—messy moments and all.
