MOTHERHOOD SHOULDN'T COST YOU YOURSELF.
VIRTUAL THERAPY AVAILABLE THROUGHOUT CALIFORNIA & FLORIDA
Anxiety doesn't just affect your thoughts—it can shape your entire postpartum experience.
You might feel…
Constantly worried that something bad will happen to your baby.
Overwhelmed by the mental load of motherhood and unable to relax.
Trapped in cycles of intrusive thoughts, guilt, or self-doubt.
Like you have to do everything perfectly or you're failing as a mom.
Exhausted but unable to quiet your mind or get restful sleep.
Disconnected from yourself, your partner, or the joy you expected to feel.
Postpartum therapy offers…
A space where you don't have to pretend you're okay. Together, we'll make sense of what you're experiencing, learn to calm your nervous system, reduce anxiety and overwhelm, build confidence in yourself as a parent, and help you reconnect with the version of yourself that feels grounded, present, and whole.
Does this feel familiar?
You feel like you're constantly on high alert, no matter how many times someone tells you everything is okay.
No matter what you do, the worry doesn't seem to stop. Your mind jumps to worst-case scenarios, and it's hard to relax—even when your baby is sleeping.
You want more than just getting through the day. You want to feel present, enjoy this season of life, trust yourself, and experience motherhood without anxiety running the show.
You're tired of carrying the invisible mental load, questioning every decision, feeling guilty for needing help, and wondering when you'll finally feel like yourself again.
In our work together, we will...
Slow down and make sense of everything you're carrying without judgment. Together, we'll calm your nervous system, understand what's fueling your anxiety, and develop practical tools to help you manage worry, intrusive thoughts, and overwhelm. We'll work toward letting go of perfectionism and self-doubt, rebuilding confidence in yourself as a parent, and reconnecting with the person you are beyond motherhood. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, present, and able to experience this season with greater peace, self-compassion, and confidence.
MEET YOUR PALM BAY POSTPARTUM THERAPIST
Hi, I'm Leticia, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), and Perinatal Mental Health Certified (PMH-C) therapist. I help new and expecting parents navigate postpartum anxiety with compassion, warmth, and evidence-based care. Whether you're constantly worrying about your baby, overwhelmed by the mental load of motherhood, or feeling like you've lost yourself in the transition to parenthood, you don't have to go through it alone.
I've spent years supporting individuals healing from trauma, eating disorders, and perinatal mental health challenges. My approach combines practical tools with a nervous system-informed, compassionate perspective to help you move beyond survival mode and reconnect with yourself. Therapy isn't about becoming a "perfect" parent—it's about helping you feel more grounded, confident, and supported in this season of life.
Here's why I'm so passionate about this work: Becoming a parent has a way of bringing old wounds, impossible expectations, and deep self-doubt to the surface. I know how easy it is to feel like you have to carry everything on your own while believing everyone else is handling it better. I also know that healing is possible. You deserve more than simply making it through the day—you deserve to feel present, connected, and able to enjoy motherhood without anxiety running the show. I'm here to help you get there.

Postpartum Therapy FAQs
-
The baby blues are common during the first two weeks after giving birth and usually improve on their own. If your anxiety, sadness, intrusive thoughts, overwhelm, or feelings of disconnection are lasting longer than two weeks, interfering with your daily life, or making it difficult to enjoy motherhood, therapy can help. You don't have to wait until things feel unbearable to seek support.
-
Postpartum anxiety can look different for everyone. You might constantly worry that something bad will happen to your baby, struggle to relax even when your baby is sleeping, experience intrusive thoughts, feel overwhelmed by the mental load of motherhood, or second-guess every parenting decision. Many parents tell me they feel like they're always "on" and can't seem to turn their minds off.
-
Yes. Many new parents experience unwanted, intrusive thoughts, and having them does not mean you will act on them or that you're a bad parent. These thoughts can be incredibly distressing, but they're also treatable. Therapy can help you understand why they're happening and reduce the fear and anxiety surrounding them.
-
Anytime. Whether you're pregnant, newly postpartum, months into parenthood, or realizing you've been struggling for much longer than expected, it's never too early—or too late—to ask for support.
-
Seeking support is one of the most caring things you can do—for yourself and your family. Therapy isn't about becoming a perfect parent. It's about helping you feel supported, confident, and able to show up as the parent you want to be.
