Women’s Trauma & Life Transitions Therapist in Burbank, CA

I help women heal from trauma, navigate major life transitions, and reconnect with themselves so they can move beyond survival mode and create a life that feels authentic and aligned.

You Don't Have to Keep Surviving This Way

Anxiety doesn't just affect your thoughts—it can shape how you experience your relationships, work, motherhood, and your sense of self.

You might feel…

  • Like you're constantly carrying the weight of everyone else's needs while ignoring your own.

  • Overwhelmed by expectations to succeed, keep up, and hold everything together.

  • Stuck in cycles of overthinking, self-doubt, perfectionism, or people-pleasing.

  • Like you have to do everything perfectly or you're falling behind.

  • Exhausted from being the one everyone relies on while struggling to slow down.

  • Disconnected from yourself, your relationships, or the person you were before life became so demanding.

Therapy for women's anxiety, trauma, and life transitions offers…

A space where you don't have to pretend you're okay or continue pushing through on your own. Together, we'll explore the experiences, beliefs, and nervous system patterns that contribute to anxiety and overwhelm. Through a compassionate, trauma-informed and somatic approach, we'll help you regulate your nervous system, rebuild trust in yourself, strengthen your sense of identity, and reconnect with a version of yourself that feels grounded, confident, and whole.

Does this feel familiar?

You feel like you're constantly on high alert, even when everything appears to be okay. Your mind goes to worst-case scenarios, your body feels stuck in stress mode, and relaxing can feel almost impossible.

No matter how much you accomplish, it still feels like it's not enough. You find yourself overthinking decisions, questioning yourself, and carrying the pressure to keep everything together.

You want more than just getting through the day. You want to feel present, connected, and confident in yourself. You want to trust your choices, enjoy your relationships, and feel like you can finally exhale.

You're tired of carrying the invisible emotional load, putting everyone else's needs before your own, and wondering when you'll feel like yourself again.

In our work together, we will...

  • Explore the experiences that shaped you and begin healing the wounds, beliefs, and patterns that may be keeping you stuck in survival mode.

  • Understand your nervous system responses and learn tools to help you feel more grounded, regulated, and connected to yourself.

  • Reconnect with your needs, values, and identity so you can move beyond simply meeting expectations and start living in a way that feels authentic to you.

  • Build confidence in yourself and your decisions while learning to quiet self-doubt, perfectionism, and the pressure to always hold everything together.

  • Create healthier relationships and boundaries by understanding how past experiences influence the way you connect with yourself and others.

  • Navigate life transitions with more support and self-compassion, whether you're adjusting to motherhood, relationship changes, career shifts, or a new chapter of life.

Together, we'll create a space where you can feel understood, supported, and empowered to reconnect with the person you've always been beneath the stress, expectations, and survival patterns.

Hi, I'm Leticia, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), and Perinatal Mental Health Certified (PMH-C) therapist. I help women heal from trauma, navigate life transitions, and reconnect with themselves through compassionate, trauma-informed therapy.

Maybe you've spent years being the strong one—the person who shows up for everyone else, keeps things together, and pushes through even when you're exhausted. You may be feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, anxious, or unsure of who you are beneath the roles and responsibilities you've carried for so long. You don't have to navigate these challenges alone.

I've spent years supporting individuals healing from trauma, eating disorders, relationship challenges, and perinatal mental health concerns. My approach combines evidence-based therapy with a nervous system-informed and somatic perspective to help you understand your experiences, build self-trust, and move beyond survival mode.

My passion for this work is deeply personal. Becoming a parent showed me how powerful life transitions can be—how they can bring old wounds, expectations, fears, and questions of identity to the surface. I understand what it feels like to navigate change while trying to care for everyone else and still find your way back to yourself.

Therapy isn't about becoming a different person or getting everything "right." It's about creating space to heal, reconnect with your needs, and build a life that feels more grounded, authentic, and aligned with who you are.
