I help adults heal from trauma and eating disorders so they can break free from survival mode, quiet the constant inner critic, reconnect with their bodies, and build lives that feel grounded, authentic, and fulfilling.

This work is deeply personal to me. Like many of my clients, I've experienced the impact of generational trauma and know what it feels like to lose yourself while trying to keep the peace, meet impossible expectations, or simply survive. My own healing taught me that recovery isn't about becoming someone different—it's about reconnecting with the parts of yourself that were never broken, only protected. That journey inspired me to become a therapist.

Today, I specialize in working with adults navigating trauma, eating disorders, body image concerns, relationship challenges, pregnancy and postpartum, and LGBTQ+ identities and experiences. Whether you're caught in the binge-restrict cycle, constantly at war with your body, struggling with perfectionism, or carrying the lasting effects of childhood or relational trauma, therapy can help you understand the patterns that once kept you safe while creating healthier ways of coping. My approach integrates trauma-informed, somatic, and evidence-based therapies, including CBT, DBT, and Perinatal Mental Health, to support healing that addresses both the mind and body.

I don't believe healing comes from more willpower or self-criticism. It happens when you no longer have to earn your worth through achievement, people-pleasing, perfectionism, or controlling food and your body. Together, we'll create a space where every part of your story is welcome, your nervous system can begin to feel safe, and you can build a relationship with yourself based on compassion instead of shame.

You don't have to keep living in survival mode or let trauma and your relationship with food continue to define your life. Healing is possible, and I'd be honored to walk alongside you as you reconnect with yourself and create lasting change.

I know what it’s like…

For a long time, I believed my value came from taking care of everyone else. I became the one who held it all together, anticipated other people's needs, and kept moving no matter how exhausted I felt. Like so many people who grow up with generational trauma, I learned to stay small, stay strong, and stay in survival mode. Along the way, I also learned to disconnect from my own needs—a pattern that can show up in relationships, perfectionism, people-pleasing, or our relationship with food and our bodies.

I know what it's like to question your instincts, to feel responsible for everyone else's happiness, and to lose touch with yourself while trying to be everything to everyone. I know what it's like to wonder who you are beneath the roles you've spent years trying to fulfill and the coping strategies you've relied on just to get through each day.

What changed wasn't that my past disappeared—it was that I stopped believing I had to keep carrying it alone. I learned to listen to my body instead of pushing through it. I discovered that my needs weren't a burden, my boundaries weren't selfish, and my worth was never something I had to earn. Healing wasn't about becoming someone new—it was about reconnecting with the version of myself that had always been there beneath fear, shame, and survival.

That healing changed the way I move through the world, and it's what inspired me to become a therapist.

Today, I help adults heal from trauma, eating disorders, and the protective patterns that once helped them survive but no longer allow them to truly live. Together, we'll gently untangle the beliefs, nervous system responses, and coping strategies that keep you feeling stuck, so you can reconnect with your body, develop a more peaceful relationship with food and yourself, build healthier relationships, and create a life that feels grounded, authentic, and fully your own.

What makes Another Day Psychology, Inc. different

⟡ Maybe you've spent so long taking care of everyone else that you can't remember the last time you asked yourself what you need.

⟡ Maybe food, your body, exercise, or the number on the scale have started to dictate your day, and you're exhausted by the constant mental noise, guilt, or feeling like you're never doing enough.

⟡ Maybe you've survived experiences that taught you to stay small, stay perfect, or stay in control, and now those same patterns are keeping you stuck in shame, anxiety, or disconnection from yourself.

If any of that feels familiar, you're not alone.

I don't believe you're broken or that you need to be "fixed." I believe your mind and body adapted in the best ways they could to survive experiences that felt overwhelming, unsafe, or too much to carry alone. Whether those adaptations show up as people-pleasing, perfectionism, anxiety, or struggles with food and body image, they make sense. Together, we'll approach them with curiosity and compassion instead of judgment.

My approach blends trauma-informed therapy with somatic work, helping you understand not only why you feel the way you do, but also how trauma lives in the body and how to reconnect with yourself in ways that feel safe. We'll move at your pace, build practical tools for everyday life, and create a space where you no longer have to earn your worth through achievement, productivity, perfectionism, or controlling your body.

Healing isn't about becoming someone new. It's about coming home to the person you've always been beneath the survival strategies that once protected you.

A Peek Behind the Therapist Hat

When I'm not wearing my therapist hat, I'm usually chasing after my toddler, trying to drink my coffee while it's still hot (rarely successful), or spending time with my family. Parenthood has taught me that life rarely goes according to plan—and that's okay.

You'll also find me at the gym, because moving my body is one of my favorite ways to recharge, curled up on the couch cuddling with my dogs, exploring new places, hunting down a great local coffee shop, or getting lost in a good book. I love a good laugh, believe humor can be incredibly healing, and appreciate the beauty in the perfectly imperfect parts of life.

At the end of the day, I'm just a real person who knows what it's like to navigate life's ups and downs. I bring that same authenticity, warmth, curiosity, and compassion into every session, creating a space where you can show up exactly as you are—messy moments and all.
